Former Development Director Patrick Diamond recalls how he became involved with the Afro-American Cultural Center and the plans to transition to the current facility. Patrick was instrumental in helping raise major gifts which enabled the Center to establish a firm footing as we moved to “Main Street” and planted roots at 551 South Tryon Street.
