Nancy Stroud: The Day We Walked In
Longtime supporter Nancy Stroud recounts the day the Afro-American Cultural Center doors opened at the former Little Rock AME Zion church site. In 1986, the Center relocated from Spirit Square to this historic structure at North Myers and Seventh Streets in the First Ward neighborhood. Stroud and other women blazed trails in Charlotte banking and the professional advancement of minorities within these institutions.
