Nancy Webber: ... It Was Wonderful
Longtime volunteer and former Afro-American Cultural Center board member Nancy Webber recalls how she and Carlenia Ivory-Cantey planned and organized the 2010 Jazzy holiday luncheon in a creative, resourceful way. The task defaulted to Webber after a committee chair’s abrupt resignation. That year, the Center’s end-of-year awards recognition and fundraiser honored Charlotte luminaries Dr. and Mrs. Spurgeon Webber, Sandra and Leon Levine, and David Driskell.
